Privacy Policy

In short

Who is responsible

The data controller is DesignAnswers Oy (business ID 3605274-2), Helsinki, Finland, which runs the workshop co-hosted by Antonija Pek and Vitali Gusatinsky. For anything about your personal data, email hi@agenticdesign.cc.

What we collect and why

Waitlist. Your email address, the time you signed up and which version of the consent text you agreed to. Also whether weekday mornings or Saturdays suit you and whether your employer or you would pay. We use them to email you the workshop date and booking details, and the answers to pick dates and plan invoicing. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time.

Team training enquiries. Your name, work email, company, team size and message. We use them to reply and to discuss training for your team. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible contract (article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (article 6(1)(f)).

Ticket bookings. Your name and email, and if you buy for a company, its name and VAT ID. We use them to confirm your seat, send practical information, handle cancellations and transfers, and issue receipts and invoices. Legal basis: our contract with you (article 6(1)(b)) and our duties under Finnish accounting and tax law (article 6(1)(c)). Stripe processes your payment details. We see only limited information, such as the payment status and the last digits of your card.

Dietary preferences. Asked at booking and always optional. Some preferences can reveal information about your health or religion, so we treat them with extra care. We use them only to order the right food, share them with the caterer or venue without your name where we can, and delete them within 30 days after the workshop. Legal basis: your explicit consent (articles 6(1)(a) and 9(2)(a)), which you give by filling in the field and can withdraw at any time.

On the day. We keep a simple list of who is attending so we can welcome you and manage the room. Legal basis: our contract with you. We don't share the participant list with other participants.

Photos and video. We may take photos or short videos at the workshop to share on our website and social media. We tell you beforehand, and you can opt out when you book or on the day with a visible marker. We ask before featuring anyone recognisably in a close-up. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in showing what the workshop is like (article 6(1)(f)), balanced by your right to opt out, and your consent for close-ups. If you appear in something we've published and want it removed, email us and we'll take it down from our own channels.

Website security. When you use a form, your IP address is used briefly at Cloudflare to limit spam and abuse. It is not stored in our database. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (article 6(1)(f)).

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of trusted providers. They process data on our behalf under data processing agreements, unless noted.

We may also share information with the venue or caterer where needed to run the event, and with authorities where the law requires it. We never sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.

Transfers outside the EU

Some of these providers are based in the United States or may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is protected either because the provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or because it uses the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, together with its own security measures. Email us if you'd like more detail.

How long we keep it

Cookies and similar technology

Our website doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It remembers the visual theme you choose in your browser's local storage. That setting stays on your device and is never sent to us. The Stripe Checkout page is run by Stripe, which uses its own cookies there for security and fraud prevention.

Your rights

You have the right to:

To use any of these rights, email hi@agenticdesign.cc. To leave the waitlist, use the subject line "Remove me from the waitlist". We reply within one month.

If you think we are handling your data wrongly, you can complain to Finland's Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuojavaltuutettu) or the data protection authority where you live. We'd appreciate the chance to fix things first.

We don't use your data for automated decisions or profiling.

Security

We keep access to your data limited to the two hosts and the providers listed above. Our database is private and not publicly accessible, and connections to our site are encrypted. If a breach ever puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when what we collect or how we use it changes, for example when ticket sales open. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change significantly affects you, we will tell you by email.
